Dear Parents, Students, Staff and Community:
Welcome to Silver Lakes Elementary. It is an honor and privilege to continue serving as your Principal for the 2012-2013 school year. Congratulations to the students, staff, parents and community on being recognized as an "A" school by the Florida Department of Education. Such an accomplishment would not have been possible without an entire community working together fostering a positive, nurturing atmosphere for success. Your commitment, dedication and hard work provided the foundation for the academic excellence that we achieved this past school year.
This school year brings opportunity for continued student growth in a fun and nurturing environment. I welcome back our continuing students and send a warm welcome to our Kindergarten students and our new students moving into the area. This year will be full of exciting learning opportunities as we continue to "Chart a Course for Excellence."
Once again, I look forward to working with you and serving you this school year.
